Meet the team – Michael Quaile, Production Manager

What do you enjoy most about working at Freshview?
The thing I love most about working at Freshview is an easy decision for me, It’s the people, I have never worked at a company before which has such a family feel to it. Everybody seems to get on well and there is always a good atmosphere. It’s great to see some of the relationships people have built up here with others.

If you could swap jobs with anyone at Freshview for a month, who would it be and why?
Jason Jackson – I like how Jase gets to see different people each day but also has a good rapport with the regular customers. Jason is somewhat the face of the company some days and I like the idea that because of his product knowledge he can always steer the customer in the right direction when knowing there requirements or sometimes giving them a useful alternative. I think that Jason is a good advertisement to what Freshview is all about.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family, I enjoy nothing more than watching a football match in the pub with friends whilst drinking a pint of lager, my current preference is Spanish lager. I do also love the Cheltenham horse racing festival and look forward to this in March each year.

What fruit or vegetable best describes you and why?
I found this question difficult, I decided to think how other people would describe me:
My youngest son – A green apple, I love green apples.
My wife – Something bitter and sour maybe a lemon.
My eldest son – Well I often want to throw things at you, a coconut maybe.
My dad – A pumpkin, useful once a year.
My daughter – A potato always there and good for a variety of things.
My best friend – A carrot something that needs to be buried in the ground.

After thinking what people may suggest for me, I will have to say an onion, like in the movie shrek onions have layers and I guess I do too.

Tell us something we don’t know about you.
Every year my sister and I play each other in a football match called the Quaile cup. We hire or get offered a venue and then we turn it into a family fun day and all the proceeds go to a local charity. This year will be the 8th time we have held the competition. Unfortunately, due to age and injuries (not to mention those lagers in my pass time) my playing time on the pitch is dwindling each year, I’m more of a player manager now.
